INGREDIENTS for 30 pieces :
- 1 Can of sarden or any other boiled fish (can be replace with minced beef or chicken)
- 500 gram boiled potatoes
- 1 Red onion / bombay finely chopped
- 2 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 Teaspoon chopped fennel
- 1 Tablespoon lime juice
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 Egg, beaten
- Half teaspoon powdered cloves
- Half teaspoon powdered cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Curry leaves
- Bread crumbs (I dont have breadcrumbs this time so I replace with flour)
- Oil for frying
- Drain the water from the fish can. Free the fish from all skin and bone and break to small pieces.
- Mashed all potatoes. Mix with the fish.
- Add onion, green chillies, fennel,cloves, cinnamon, lime juice, salt, pepper, egg yolk and curry leaves.
- Then shape the mixture about 1 inch diameter ( small ball )
- Soak in beaten egg and then coat with bread crumbs
- Fry till golden brown.
