Tips to photograph fire works




Although New Year's Eve has passed but I want to give you tips to photographing fire works.
what are you and camera need to do? 
  • Use tripod (required)
  • Use cable release (your eyes will be free to watch the sky)
  • If you don't have cable release, use the camera timer
  • Use the highest photo quality, size and resolution (you can crop later)
  • Aperture f/16 - Shutter speed 2 second
  • Aperture f/18 - Shutter speed 1.25 second
  • ISO 100
  • Turn off the built-in flash
  • Switch Auto focus to Manual
  • Frame a part of the sky where you anticipate the fire works to burst
  • Press the shutter when the fire works starts up
  • Verify your memory cards are empty
  • Charge your batteries
  • Find a good location
  • Take photograph as much as possible
