Ceylon Tea

I get gift pack Ceylon tea. Which is come from Sri Lanka. Why the name is Ceylon? let me tell you the history, Ceylon was the name given to Sri Lanka during The British colony. In 1972 the official name was change to Republic of Sri Lanka and In 1978 it was change to the "Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.  The name derives from the Sanskrit, Sri (Venerable) and Lanka (island). The country is the world's fourth largest producer of tea (wikipedia).

Back to Ceylon tea... In Sri lanka, people drink tea with milk after waking in the morning. I remember when I Visited Sri Lanka, every day when I wake up, tea was ready on the table. In addition to milk some people also add some spices like cardamoms, cloves and ginger. It's really warms the body.

Let's start to make it :
2 tea bags
400 cc water
2 tablespoon of plain / vanila milk powder
2 - 3 teaspoon of white sugar
Method : Put tea bags in pot. Mix the milk and water and then boiled. Turn off the heat , pour into teapot and
add 2 tablespoon of sugar then stir well until the color mix together.
prepare two tea cups. Pour milk tea into cups and Enjoyyy!!

Easy right......???
Next time I will post ceylon tea with spices recipe...
